The Laser Vision Institute is dedicated to LASIK refractive surgery (up-down LASIK). We specialize in the treatment of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. We only use next generation LadarVisionâ technology. This is a flying spot excimer laser in concert with an active radar tracker.

Many of the staff have had the procedure performed by Dr. Gelwan. They are eager to share their positive experience.

Dr. Gelwan offers FREE Evaluations to introduce new patients to his center and technology. During your visit you will meet with Dr. Gelwan. After going over a comprehensive medical history, Dr. Gelwan will measure your prescription; perform computerized mapping and an ultrasonic diagnostic evaluation that will determine if you are an eligible LASIK candidate.
